Savage Squad Recordings was born from a vision of pushing boundaries, delivering futuristic music and giving Hardstyle a new vision. their founding fathers manuel (the purge), alberto (mind dimension) and jordy (former manager spoontech) launched the label in the middle of the pandemic during their sold-out event, with the first roster consisting of The Purge, Mind Dimension, Genox and Ace. Artists such as Sickmode, Fraw, Kruelty and Andy the Core released in the early stages of the platform.

The first Savage Academy release became a fact, in which the sound of the future was released through the platform. Artists such as Zyon, Kinetic and Hatom were part of this release. The driving force behind this E.P. was Adjuzt - who was the first official signing of the label after this release in the beginning of this year. In addition to the Netherlands, Savage Squad expanded overseas with the arrival of Savage Squad OZ in Australia.

The year started with announcing The Purge's debut album TRIPPIN', which would later leave a big mark on the Hardstyle scene. Shortly after, the announcement of label signing Griever, which kicked off with a 3-tracker E.P. We said goodbye to the pandemic and made our re-appearance at Shockerz, REBiRTH and Intents - which intents would be the kick-off of a surreal year for The Purge and Adjuzt.

The Defqon.1 Weekend Festival and Decibel Outdoor events were celebrated legendary. The roster was strengthened in the form of Omnya, whose name could be admired at various events later in the year.

In the last quarter of the year, the label launched BACK TO THE WILD, our own event with the full roster being present. Many releases reached number 1 on Hardstyle.com and received much praise from the fans, with the absolute highlights: SOMEBODY TO LOVE, ECHOES and the VENDETTA REMIX - which would even reach national radio.

Savage Squad also became part of the Amsterdam Dance Event, sharing their pop-up store with Scantraxx. The year ended with five entries in the Hardstyle Awards, including nominations for best label, best album, best artist, best talent and best live set.

2023

The kick-off of the year was marked by a new signing, PL4Y joined Savage Squad and debuted with READY TO RUMBLE. This year was all about collectively steering the Savage Squad sound - this through label hostings at Dropzone in Croatia, Decibel Outdoor and the presence of the entire roster at the infamous Defqon.1 Weekend Festival. The first official producer camp, where the first group track premiered during the summer titled SAVAGE ERA.

In the heat of the summer, Sanctuary joined the label, which proved to be a great quality in terms of production and vision. The Purge and Adjuzt announced their DREAMSCAPE event at poppodium 013 Tilburg, in collaboration with REBiRTH Events. The event sold out in exactly 58 minutes, with names on the line-up such as D-Sturb, Mutilator, Sickmode and Vertile.

Later that year, Savage Squad consolidated its position within the international Dance scene with its Hardstyle Showdown event during ADE in the Q-factory in Amsterdam. This event was also hosted together with Scantraxx.

the purge and adjuzt would also make an appearance at the most prestigious event within the Hardstyle genre, a spot at Qlimax in the Gelredome. With various excursions in the releases with: Gezellige Uptempo, Bloodlust, Geck-o, EZG, TOZA and Lunakorpz, this year was fuelled by open-minded creativity.

During the fourth year of the label, we as a label allowed promising talents to release on the label, whereby we wanted to give a mix between established and ambitious both a stage. In addition to the current roster, we have done various guest releases on the main label, with names such as Cardination, Unload, BMBERJCK and Infliction.

The second producer camp also became a fact, albeit with a new line-up, but with the same goal; the production of a group record. This group record, entitled SAVAGE VICTORY, would become the theme of the future vision of the label.

The exceptional number of performances of the artists paid off; their own hosting during The Gathering of the Defqon.1 Weekend Festival, a prestige spot where the entire label would be present. During this label hosting, Savage Squad announced the sound of the future, Coldax who would strengthen the label and bring the funk to the existing roster.

Besides performances of our artists on stages like INDIGO and BLUE that year, The Purge specifically made his debut on the RED stage, the biggest Hardstyle stage in the world.

The Purge also released his second studio album BEYOND TRIPPIN’ (including a sold-out album release party), an ode to all LIVE performances during the year, with Supremacy as the highlight.

During this edition, Omnya also made his debut at the biggest Raw Hardstyle event in the world, where he premiered his live act CARNAGE to over 30.000 visitors in the Gelredome. this year was collectively closed with over 150+ performances from the artists of the label.

2025

The fifth year of Savage Squad is all about pushing boundaries with the motto Wilder Than Ever. The year kicked off with the Savage Squad tour in australia. the purge initiatED one of the most prestigious goals within the Hardstyle scene, hosting the indoor mainstage at intents together with Unresolved.

the idea of ​​separate talent releases to a completely independent platform became reality, Savage Academy was born and five acts were officially announced: Synapze, Redhot, Point Break, Outlined and Revizion.

alongside the additions on the academy, the main label also added a brand new force to the label. spitfire announced his arrival at savage squad during his debut set at supremacy germany.
